Registration Agreement

By submitting registration, the parent/guardian or adult student confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they are authorized to register the listed student or themselves for German School Upstate programs.

School name: German School Upstate. Service area: Upstate South Carolina. Contact: info@germanschoolupstate.org.

Formal legal name, mailing address, nonprofit/tax status, emergency procedures, insurance language, and South Carolina-specific release wording should be confirmed by legal counsel before final publication.

German School Upstate may review age, language level, location, class capacity, tuition status, and school needs before confirming final placement. The school may contact families for clarification or placement support.

• Registration and materials fees are nonrefundable.
• $150 is nonrefundable if withdrawn August 15 through October 1.
• $250 is nonrefundable if withdrawn after October 1.
• No refund is available after November 15.
• A full refund may be issued if German School Upstate cannot place the student due to overbooking or school capacity.
• Payment plans may be available upon request and require school approval.

The parent/guardian or adult student authorizes German School Upstate staff to contact the listed emergency contact and to administer standard first aid, including CPR if necessary, until professional medical care can be obtained. The school will make reasonable efforts to contact the parent/guardian or emergency contact promptly.

Families and adult students are responsible for providing accurate medical notes, allergy information, and emergency contact information. German School Upstate uses this information to support student safety during school activities.

Photo and media permission is optional and is collected separately during registration. If granted, German School Upstate may use photos or video from school activities for educational and promotional purposes, including the website, social media, newsletters, and print materials. Student names will not be published with photos without additional consent.

Students and families agree to behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, volunteers, classmates, families, and school property. German School Upstate may address disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, or harmful behavior through parent contact, behavior plans, removal from activities, or dismissal from the program when necessary.

Referral credits are subject to admin approval. A referral may remain pending until the referred family or adult student has completed required registration steps and tuition payment. German School Upstate may deny or adjust referral credits for duplicate, incomplete, unverifiable, or mistaken referrals.
